Rihanna-Chris Brown LIVE in MANILA: Please don’t stop the MUSIC!
Over seventy thousand (70,000) people gathered at the heart of Bonifacio Global City to witness two of the hottest yet youngest performers in the world: Chris Brown and Rihanna. Sounds perfect? Not so for latecomers (like ehem!) who were rushing to get inside the venue to catch the first few stints of Chris Brown. Gates leading toward the open field were closed as soon as the show started so we heard.
Mostly, owners of Gold tickets (ehem again!) were raving to get inside asking for a mere explanation why can’t the guards let us in. But we didn’t get any answers. Instead, they were pointing directions as to where we should proceed, the other side that is which will take about 4minutes to walk. Most people were complaining because of the ticket price and soon enough, the gate for Gold Tickets were opened.
There he is, a prominent guy singing Forever… Fans screaming as they sing along, “Imma take you there. Imma take you there.” Chris Brown just can’t be stopped, he began krumpin’ and spinnin’ to the tune of Kiss Kiss. And fans screamed more. Although he skid a bit, it didn’t matter. He stood up and krumped more and continue performing.
At the end of his performance, he took off his shirt and all the ladies in the house couldn’t stop screamingggggg. Chris Brown is one superhuman and he has a lot to show. No wonder girls would go gaga although the guy’s already taken. Ayt!
And then there was intermission, fireworks and some music. People began to feel tired and uncomfortable because of the rock-strewn venue. But patiently, everyone waited for the second show. And there were flashes of light, drums thumping. And there was DISTURBIA. Rihanna, in her skimpy black leather bustier paired with a black bikini and underneath was a pair of diamond net stockings. Quite disturbing for men indeed. (whoot whoot)
The succeeding songs were not so loud and some couldn’t follow so Rihanna thought the audience was quiet. She hollered, “make some mothafuζҗ!n noise!” Everyone hollered. But fact is, Rihanna really doesn’t have that strong audience appeal. She doesn’t seem to have that vigor of a total performer. She needs an improvement on that part because all she all she did throughout the show was to shake her booty, which is cute! Well, her songs are quite catchy and no one does Umbrella better than Rihanna. As she bids goodbye to everyone and blows kisses in the air, those 70,000 people could only shout, “Please don’t stop the MUSIC!”Since we got free tickets, I had to shout, we’re one lucky fellas… ella, ella ehh ehh ehh! 😀
